Deepal S05 deliveries resume after CKD kit delay, company says

By Brecorder.com - February 25, 2026

Master Changan Motors Limited has announced the resumption of full-scale production and deliveries of the Deepal S05 REEV after a recent delay caused by the late arrival of completely knocked down (CKD) kits at its Karachi plant.

In a customer notice shared on Wednesday, the company said it had received the pending CKD kits and restarted production of the Deepal S05 REEV, assuring buyers that dispatches are now underway on a priority basis.

“We know that many of you have been waiting for your vehicles with great anticipation,” the company said, apologising for the inconvenience caused by the delay.

It added that customers’ patience during the period was “truly appreciated.”

According to the statement, the delay was linked to the late arrival of CKD kits required for local assembly at the Karachi facility.

With supplies now in place, the company said production has resumed while maintaining “the highest standards of quality and precision.”

The automaker said it is working to deliver all pending February orders and the majority of March orders within March. It added that production and dealership networks have been aligned to ensure a smooth and timely rollout.

Customers will be contacted directly by their respective dealerships regarding specific delivery schedules, the company said.

The Deepal S05 REEV, introduced in Pakistan as part of Changan’s new energy vehicle lineup, has drawn significant interest in the growing hybrid and electric vehicle segment.

The latest update comes amid rising demand for alternative fuel vehicles as consumers look for fuel-efficient options in a high-cost environment.
