Boat capsizes

KARACHI: A trip turned into a crisis on Friday when a boat carrying 10 people capsized in the open sea near Manora, Karachi.

Rescue officials said the boat was overturned after a ship hit it near China Port.

Upon receiving the emergency call, the maritime rescue team, along with Edhi volunteers, rushed to the scene and successfully rescued 6 individuals who were struggling in the water.

These people were provided with immediate first aid and shifted to a nearby hospital.

Four out of ten people are still missing, and the search operation is still underway.
