Five killed, several injured in explosion at wedding ceremony in Dera Ismail Khan

At least five people were killed and several others injured in an explosion during a wedding ceremony near Qureshi Mor in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Dera Ismail Khan district on Friday, Aaj News reported, citing police.

According to police officials, the blast occurred while the wedding ceremony was underway, triggering panic and chaos among guests at the venue.

Rescue officials said the injured were shifted to nearby hospitals, where the condition of some victims was reported to be critical, raising fears that the death toll could rise.
